Araknos is founded in February 2002 on the idea of realization of the Akab product. The company headquarters are in Bologna (Italy). Araknos has been  ISO 9001:2008 certified by Bureau Veritas.

"Core business" of Araknos is security of IT systems from within, starting with prevention measures, implementing proactive safety management and having complete control of the entire infrastructure.

To respond in the best way to "security needs" of companies, both public and private, Araknos offers company own design and development appliances (Akab Architecture), consulting services (Security Audit) and training (scheduled and customized cources), as well as sale and installation of third-party scurity products (such as firewall, IDS and antivirus systems)
